– I love games (soccer, Overwatch, chess, Pico Fermi Bagels, FPL, etc.) Not just the game itself, but the strategy, the macro. Games serve as controlled environments to understand what “optimal” looks like in a Game Theory sense, how clashing individual policies => emergent winning and losing sides. great for building AI/analytics in.
- Data. Statistics, both theoretical and practical. Using the past to understand and predict the future.
- DE at Meta. Enjoy both the analytical and operational. Building models is cool, making data operational for insights to be provided is nice too.
- AI. The tool, and its impact on our world. Learning the tool to understand its impact.
- As an E at big tech, I am at the bleeding edge: I have access to the best technologies and minds, while also probably being one of the first whose heads will roll. Its both exciting and scary: I want to keep up and learn with what is happening, share with others, and try to understand where we are going.
